Asha Lewis joined the firm in October 2021 as a pupil in the firm’s Civil Litigation Practice Area.
Asha began her legal studies at the University of the Bahamas where she received her Associates Degree with Distinction in 2016.
In September 2016, Asha furthered her legal studies at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, in Barbados. During her time in UWI, she was a member of UWI STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) Vice Chancellor's Ambassador Corps. She completed her studies at UWI in 2019, gaining her Bachelor of Law Degree with Honors.
In September 2019, Asha then enrolled at Eugene Dupuch Law School (EDLS) in Nassau, The Bahamas. At EDLS, Asha was a member of EDLS’s Publication Team, a member of the Commercial and Financial Services Law Clinic, and held the position of Library Representative. In September, 2021 she obtained her Legal Education Certificate from EDLS. Asha was subsequently called to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in October, 2021.
