Randol was admitted to practice in the state of New York (2004) & The Bahamas in 2005. He holds a LL.M -Master of Laws Degree in International & Commercial Law with a World Trade Specialist designation. He has a LL.B -Bachelor of Laws Degree – First Class Hons; and a A.A – Associate of Arts Degree in Law and Criminal Justice – Distinction.
Randol is a former Partner in GrahamThompson and practiced closely with Michael Barnett (former Chief Justice and the current President of the Court of Appeal) and Robert Adams (presently ranked in Band 1 by Chambers Global). His work covers the full spectrum of commercial practice with an emphasis on Medical Negligence, Insurance and Banking Law (inclusive of Compliance and Regulation) Labour and Employment Law, Trust and Fraud.
In 2012 Randol was appointed Chairman of the Utilities Regulation & Competition Authority (URCA), an independent statutory body with regulatory authority and responsibility for the Electronic Communications and Energy Sectors of The Bahamas. Randol left Graham Thompson in 2015 to focus his time and energy on his role at URCA where he oversaw the introduction of competition in cellular mobile services in the Bahamas and also the introduction of independent Energy regulation.
In February of 2018 Randol returned to private practice where he joined Baycourt Chambers as a Partner.
Randol continues to maintain a successful practice before the Industrial Tribunal, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal and has been involved in numerous cases of public importance.
Randol is also a part time Lecturer at the University of The Bahamas, teaching Banking Law, Business Law, Constitutional Law and Torts.
