Samantha Fox is a Consultant in the Firm’s Real Estate & Property Development Group.
Samantha has experience in a broad range of matters, including residential and commercial property developments, acquisitions and sales by Bahamians and non-Bahamians, preparation of financing and loan documentation, domestic mortgages, title insurance, title investigations and opinion work, advising personnel at local lending institutions on the enforceability of mortgage security and acting on behalf of such lending institutions in power of sale matters, advising on real property tax matters and other regulatory matters including applications to the Bahamas Investments Board and other governmental entities .
Samantha was called to the Bahamas Bar in October, 2007. She holds a LL.B (Honours) from University of London, United Kingdom (2005). Prior to her call to the Bahamas Bar she developed her legal skills working in several law firms where she gained extensive legal training and experience in conveyancing and probate matters. After her call to the Bar, she worked as a Senior Associate at Higgs & Johnson in their Real Estate & Development Practice Group and Litigation Department and headed their affiliated title insurance company before joining the Firm’s Real Estate and Property Department Group.
