The Court of Appeal dismissed the Appeal filed by the Millers who were seeking to overturn the decision of the Chief Justice whereby he granted a Certificate of Title to the Adverse Claimants, Leslie and Robert Isaacs.
The dispute centered on a parcel of land located on Minne Street, New Providence.
The Adverse Claimants were the documentary title holders.
The Court found that the Chief Justice properly applied the Law to the facts and that the facts were not sufficient to prove a possessory title spanning 12 years.
The Adverse Claimants were represented before the Chief Justice and the Court of Appeal by Raynard Rigby and Candice Ferguson.
